Quick Start¶

Welcome to AI4POS — the Point-of-Sale system enhanced with AI.

What You Need¶

Check your email for your login credentials and instructions.
Log in to your new store at https://www.ai4pos.com.
Enter your Company Code and press Tab.
Enter your Name and press Tab.
Enter your Password and click Log In.
On your first login, you will be prompted to select your local time zone.
Since you were provided with a temporary password, please change it immediately:
1. Go to Maintenance → User Maintenance.
2. Click the pencil icon next to your user.
3. Enter a new password and click Submit Changes.
Before using your new POS system, complete the initial configuration in this order:
1. Store Configuration
  - Go to Maintenance → Configuration → Store Configuration
  - Enter your store details and required settings
2. POS Configuration
  - Go to Maintenance → Configuration → POS Configuration
  - Click the pencil icon and set your POS system preferences
Configure your sales tax:
1. Go to Maintenance → Configuration → Sales Tax
2. Click Add a New Sales Tax
3. Receipt Name is the label printed on receipts (e.g., Sales Tax, VAT)
4. Set Default = Y if this tax should be calculated automatically
You are now ready to begin using AI4POS. To get started, you may want to enter:
- Store cashiers
- Inventory items
- Customers and vendors
